Kilrush Drama Group have qualified for the All Ireland Drama Final in Rossmore, Co. Cork. They are doing a play called ‘Our Town’ by Thornton Wilder. Cora Tyrrell from 5th class and Ms. Doran are both in the play. Cora plays the part of a girl called Rebecca Gibbs. Ms. Doran is in the choir in the play.
Cora won a special adjudicator’s award at the South Leinster Drama Festival in Gorey.
Congratulations to Cora and the best of luck to all of the group at the All Ireland.
You can come see the play in St. Brigid’s Hall in Carnew on Friday 19th and Sunday 21st April at 8p.m. Admission is €10 for adults and €5 for students.
