Scoil Aodán Naofa

This is a photo of some of the girls in 2nd class holding an owl. Miss. M O’Riordan organised for her friend Colin to come in and visit all the classes with his pet birds!It was really exciting. Colin showed us his owls and he even had a hawk with him. His hawk was really noisy because it was hungry. Colin showed us the little yellow chicks which he feeds the hawk – some people were not impressed!! Lots of pupils had their picture taken with the birds and some really lucky students were even allowed to hold them! We really had a great time learning about birds.
